Excel allows you to change values in a worksheet quickly and easily, this is helpful in running a business because it will make everything run smoothly with all the numbers and putting information in correctly.
If you were to change the values it would affect the business by making their company either look bad or look good depending on how the values are changed.
The advantages of creating an automated spreadsheet rather then a hand written one is that you can get all your work done faster using an electronic device (computer) and get all the information and text correct. If you were to write a spreadsheet then it would take you more time then the automated spreadsheet.
The capability to recalculate automatically is more valuable then a written spreadsheet because with the automated spreadsheet it figures out all the functions and formulas by itself then with a written spreadsheet it will take you time to add or subtract which ever operation you have to do.

If we were to change the cost of the months then the whole graph would change how it looks by either making the percentile of each month different.
If the cost of good sold were to be higher then the total expenses would be higher in each month.
If the expenses increase then the gross margin would decrease.
